Developed with DCI's Blue Devils corps, the Evans System Blue 12" tenor head is built to meet the demands of a marching ensemble that competes at the highest level. The asymmetric 2-ply construction — 7-mil top over 7.5-mil bottom — keeps the tone clear and focused while adding the durability needed to last through the marching band season. Sound Shaping Technology works on the overtones so the 12" stays defined and projects cleanly without drifting in pitch between tuning sessions.
