I selected these because of the dark, glossy photo and the actual claves were much lighter. The sound is nice and I like them, but they don't look deep and glossy.
The sound really carries but is not piercing. Really love this product!
These claves are great at being all-around claves. They work in any situation. The sound is bright, like I needed. A good choice.
