Way too loud, hard to hold, should have gotten plastic one for 10$ instead of metal for $40

It worked a few times, then started to fail. Works when open, but cover both holes and blow and the mechanism locks up. The only way to get it to work again is to tap it loose. Then it locks up again as soon as you try again. Worthless. Will try to return for a refund!

Got this whistle and it didn't work at all. Piece of plastic in the middle was loose but didn't trill and blocked portions of the whistle air holes. So no trill and it's didn't make a solid tone. Told SW about it and they had Meinl ship out another one. Same problem. The whistle is useless. If you need a samba whistle, DON'T GET THIS ONE!!!!

Whistle works well. Nothing fancy about it, it's a simple tri-tone Samba whistle that does exactly what it should. Whistle comes on a string so that you could possibly wear it around your neck.
