Meyers-Slightly Funky (SP)-P/TP

Nicholaus Meyers' idea behind Slightly Funky was to compose a duet for trumpet and percussion with a small percussion set-up close to that of a drum set. Overall, the sound is similar to that of Funk music inspired by the band Galactic and that of James Brown. This composition would make a great opener or closer for a recital.
