The Promark Claus Hessler Signature Stick is made from FireGrain treated hickory with an acorn wood tip. The Active Grip finish is a heat activated finish allowing the stick to become more tacky as the player's hands heat up lessening the chances of a dropped stick, The long taper keeps the balance and allows for extra reach. Outstanding durability comes from the fireGrain finish.

These are great sticks. You have the benefit of the firegrain for durability and the active grip on top of that. Plus these sticks give you an awesome rebound and are super easy to control. They sound great on the drums and the cymbals. I use different sticks from time to time, but these always get a share in the rotation! They are well worth the price.
