The Promark Tim Fairbanks Firegrain Marching Snare Drumstick features a long, 4.25" taper as well as a rear taper at the butt end of the stick to produce a great balance and feel in the hands. The taper is designed to add durability at the location on the stick where rim shots are played. A large round bead delivers a full, articulate sound from the drum.

They are heavy, which I liked. But they also felt hollow and were low pitched. I think I received a bad pair but this is also the second pair that has felt this way. I've heard great things about these sticks but unfortunately I haven't had a chance to have a good opinion. They usually turn into clicking sticks for when I teach.
The sticks themselves are sweet, love the look and the feel. But I was disappointed to find that the sticks were not pitch paired when I received them, just a small nitpick thing for me. But overall, the sticks were great.
I love these sticks. They sound good and feel comfortable, but they are a lil bit heavy.
These sticks are on "FIRE"!!! Great feel, tone, balance and appearance!!! I've recommended them to many friends and several local school's percussion line to grab these.
