Still a good solid snare drum method.

I've been using several snare drum method books over the years and I keep coming back to Here's the Drum. I particularly find it useful with older beginners. It moves at a good pace and covers basic 26 rudiments. Granted it is a little out of date with the advent of the 40 Percussive Arts Standard Rudiments and compound rudiments used in drum corp, still the book has something to offer and I find it a good starting place for many of my students.
