Treibman-Unterhaltung(S-n2)

Unterhaltung zweier Schlagzeuger ("Conversation of Two Percussionists") is a duo for two percussionists by German composer Karl Ottomar Treibmann (1936–2017), composed in 1979. Treibmann was a professor of music theory and Tonsatz at Leipzig University from 1981 until his retirement in 2001, and one of the leading representatives of musical modernity in the German Democratic Republic, with a substantial catalog of operas, symphonies, and chamber music. Unterhaltung zweier Schlagzeuger was recorded by the Leipziger Schlagzeugensemble and sits within a body of percussion chamber works that also includes Vibraphon-mobil, Fell-Stück, and the Schlagsonate.
